"No Daddy, No Issues" is a Canadian streetwear brand created in the hopes of inspiring and uplifting those who have strenuous relationships with their father, have estranged fathers, or are born into single parented/broken homes.
"How did daddy issues become an insult to women when it's men who've failed as fathers?"

While we acknowledge childhood pain and trauma associated with abandonment and neglect, we reject the over-sexualized stigmas linked to this term.
It's time we, as women, or even men, subject to this label of "Daddy Issues," take the term back.
NDNI is trauma informed brand that is taking back the label "Daddy Issues" and giving it a new meaning.
We are not weak-minded, we are not sleazy, we do not crave the attention of older men. We are strong, self-sufficient, independent and brave individuals who have struggles but have the power to overcome these adverse challenges.
Why is the term Daddy Issues problematic?
"Daddy Issues” promotes this idea that women without fathers are highly sexual beings as if a woman with a healthy relationship with her father isn't a sexual being as well?
It contributes to the double-standard women being shamed for expressing their sexual energy, while men are congratulated for it.
The term Daddy Issues does not just shame women who have complex relationships with their fathers, but all women, as it revokes the movement of sexual liberation for all genders.
We are twin sisters born and raised on the outskirts of Toronto, labelled as having "Daddy Issues" as we were brought up by a single mother.
As people who were told "you will never amount to much" or "you are incapable of being in any sort of healthy relationship," we decided to create this brand to inspire those subjected to the same false stereotype.
We are more than the labels society gives us.
